Lot Essay

More detailed than the principal 8-foot Enterprise, this model was used for the closeup "can opener shot" in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, where a phaser blast from Reliant tore open the Enterprise's hull. It was later refurbished and used in other closeups, including the photon torpedo launch shot in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
