Den forste Flukt over Polhavet. Oslo: Gyldendal, 1926. 8° (226 x 154mm). 32 leaves of plates, 1 folding map. (Long tear to map.) Original quarter calf, spine lettered in gilt with illustration of Norge airship flying over the Norwegian flag in gilt (extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: Gustav S. Amundsen (nephew of Roald Amundsen, inscription in Norwegian 'This is a piece of the airship Norge's balloon cloth. 3/11.26. Gustav S. Amundsen.' written in ink on a piece of orange cloth mounted on front pastedown), and thence by descent to the present owner;

Original blue cloth, decorated and lettered in gilt, marbled edges (extermities lightly rubbed, spines stained with some loss of gilt). Provenance: Gustav S. Amundsen (WITH AMUNDSEN'S PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION in Norwegian 'Goggo from uncle Roald. 24.12.14.' on front free endpaper, and signed 'Gustav Sahlquist Amundsen' on both half-titles), and thence by descent to the present owner;

Amundsen' on half-title), and thence by descent to the present owner;
