Tasting Note: More recently, a fragrant, assertive and impressive jeroboam at a big Rodenstock tasting with dinner in 1996. Fragrance noted again at Manfred Wagner's vertical in 1998, adding 'firm core, hard, hot finish', and a not too dissimilar note at Len Evans' 70th birthday celebrations though I found it attractive, dry, with some delicacy, despite it being completely upstaged by the '69.
