Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1948 and its subsequent sale on April 21st of the following year.

Patek Philippe commenced manufacture of the reference 1585 in 1944 and it remained in production until at least 1950. According to our research, this wristwatch represents one of only approximately 10 pieces to have appeared at auction in yellow gold.
