Lot Essay

Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe box, tie tag and an Extract from the Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1954 and its subsequent sale on September 2nd of the same year.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 2483 for a short period between the years of 1950 and 1954. To the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never before appeared at auction and represents one of only approximately 15 pieces known to the market.
