Lot Essay

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1978 and its subsequent sale on December 10th of the following year.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3739 from 1978 to circa 1983. This model represents one of the first to employ the caliber 240, which was launched in 1977.

To the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never before appeared at auction.
