CIRCA 1760 AND 1775, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO BOTH, PRESSNUMMER 13 AND PURPLE H TO THE BOWL
In the Sèvres style, the pot-pourri modeled after the pot pourri 'Pompadour', the shoulder painted with a shaped purpur-mosaïk band edged with gilt foliate scrolls and issuing flower garlands spiraling downwards and wrapping around the socle foot, the top edge of the band pierced with seven apertures ringed with moulded foliate scrolls, the conical cover en suite, the ranunculus finial centering the spiraling garlands; the bowl painted in the center in the style of Watteau with children before an obelisk in a landscape vignette, the shaped rosa-mosaïk border edged with gilt foliate scrolls and issuing flower sprays, shaped gilt line rim
