A Chinese blue and white two handled cup and cover, Johanneum mark, Kangxi
of a tall cylindrical form, with two handles in the form of a pair of confronting dragon heads holding a pearl in their mouths, the domed cover with a stepped bud finial, the exterior painted with floral sprays between bands of stiff leaves and lobed lappets above the splayed foot and around the rim and cover, engraved N=181 Johanneum mark -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high.
