Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1962 and its subsequent sale on 7 February 1963.

This watch has never been offered at auction before and is thought to be one of less than five examples of reference 3473 in yellow gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 3473 was launched in 1962 and in production for approximately three years; according to research, a total of only around 100 examples of this model were made.
