Cal. 13''' gilt-finished lever movement, 20 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the black dial with applied Arabic and baton numerals, outer gilt five minutes and tachymetre scales, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 45 minutes register, in circular case with snap on back, hooded flexible lugs, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, later 18K gold Vacheron Constantin buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Vacheron Constantin confirm the manufacture of the present watch with silvered dial in 1938. Based on the condition of the beautifully aged black dial it can be assumed that it has been changed shortly after the sale of the watch.
