Lot Essay

In the summer of 1932, Lartigue became assistant director to Alexis Granowski on his film 'Les Aventures du roi Pausole' on location in the French Riviera. In addition to talent and location scouting, Lartigue also took the official photographs for the film.

Remnants of white paper on the verso suggest that this print was previously pasted in an album.
