Urn form, set on four ball-and-claw feet, with a pierced rim, the base with chased garlands, the lower body with applied acanthus, the upper body with chased garlands, with two beaded and leaf-capped handles, and leaf-capped spigot with ivory handle, the double-domed cover with conforming decoration and flame finial, the body engraved on one side with a crest and Viscount's coronet and on the other a coat-of-arms, the base engraved with a different crest, marked on cover bezel, the base engraved 1772 and now attached to urn
19½ in. (49.5 cm.) high; 78 oz. (2,425 gr.) gross weight
