CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG (1736-1795)
De forme balustre, reposant sur un pied évasé à décor de flots tumultueux repris sur la bordure du col, la panse ovoïde ornée d'un large registre de rinceaux feuillagés et lotus rehaussés du caractère shou, encadré par une frise de pétales et agrémenté dans la partie supérieure des huit emblèmes bouddhistes (baijixiang), répartis de part et d'autre de deux anses moulées en relief représentant des têtes de chimères soutenant un anneau, l'épaulement agrémenté d'une guirlande de volutes fleuries, le col de lotus ; cassé en deux et restauré

Usually vases of this size, shape and pattern bear a Qianlong mark while the current example doesn't have any.
