BELL, Clive (1881-1964). Peace at Once. Manchester and London: National Labour Press, [1915]. 8°. Original grey paper wrappers. Bell worked for the No-Conscription League. Copies of this anti-war pamphlet were destroyed by order of the Lord Mayor of London. In the following year, Bell, exempted from military service, began to do 'agricultural work' on the Morrells' country estate at Garsington.
