A WELL-PRESENTED AND DETAILED 1:196 SCALE WATERLINE MODEL OF THE 74-GUN THIRD RATE BELLONA [1760]
modelled by D. Ewart in walnut and tanganyika with a framed and planked hull depicted with lower gun ports closed, painted heads, bulwarks, stern and quarter galleries, deck fittings as appropriate including three longboats, bound masts, yards with stun's'l booms and rigging, is displayed "at rest" on an aqua-marine covered base with dinghy alongside, within a glazed wooden case with legend. Overall measurements -- 15½ x 20 x 11in. (39 x 51 x 28cm.)
