A FINELY DETAILED AND WELL-PRESENTED 1:96 SCALE RADIO-CONTROLLED MODEL OF THE DESTROYER H.M.S. KELLY [1939]
modelled by John Dean from his own researches with bespoke moulded hull with simulated plating, fittings and armament as appropriate, removeable superstructure to electric motors powering two steel propeller shafts with 'A' brackets and three-blade brass propellers and rudder, finished in red below the waterline, black and grey and loosely mounted on two columns within teak bound glazed display case with one removable plexi-glass panel and miniature ship's badge in front of the bow and brass legend by bow. Overall measurements -- 19¾ x 53½ x 9in. (50 x 136 x 23cm.)
