Woburn: S. Dodd, 1839. 8vo. (title with minor soil mark, A5-A6 with marginal tears, without half-title), contemporary drab boards backed in green cloth (soiled, inner hinges split). Provenance: K.S. Castleden and O. Hooley (front pastedown inscribed "Mastr O. Hooley, A present from his affectionate friend, K.S. Castleden, 27 Nov 1862").
FIRST EDITION. Cricket at Woburn is the subject of part two (pp. 14-28), the poet having little sympathy with the new trend for "'round' bowling". A second edition appeared in 1840. Padwick 6433.
