Each cast to the front with a pug dog, inscribed PUG DOG CASE, the obverse inscribed DANETTA, and with the award and date, assay mark

Lot Essay

The Kennel Club records that these presentation medals were achieved by 'Danetta', bred and owned by Mrs M.Benson. The highlight being the group win at Crufts (Agricultural Hall) in 1911. It is possible that the terracotta model, lot 311, is actually Danetta.
