A LATE LOUIS XVI GILT METAL MOUNTED MAHOGANY BUREAU A CYLINDRE
LAST QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
With a verde antico marble top above three drawers, the cylinder front mounted with leaf and berry wreaths and swags around a central wreathed and anthemion flanked portrait, revealing a fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes and a sliding writing surface, with three further drawers around the kneehole and a slide to each side, on square tapering legs with brass caps, legs possibly replaced.
