The first lacquered overall in red with urushi-e, gold, shibuichi and silver hiramaki-e depicting chilli peppers, the underside with scattered mon including those of Maeda, Hosokawa, Asano and Kuse families; another decorated with pleasure boats; one with tea whisk sellers; another depicting boats at Takanawa on the shore of Shinagawa Bay and a New Year sake cup depicting a monkey trainer, a shamisen player and the underside with New Year decoration
