Cary, Strand, March 1st 1815 WITH ADDITIONS & CORRECTIONS TO 1833, made up of two sets of eighteen hand-coloured engraved split half-gores, with graduated equatorial, ecliptic and four meridians, an analemma, explorers' tracks with dates and notes, nation states variously and delicately shaded, with towns, cities, rivers, mountains, deserts, caravan routes and various notes, with engraved brass hour dial and ungraduated meridian, the paper horizon with degree (x2), Zodiac and calendar scales and wind directions, the Atlantic ocean with inscription 'CARY'S NEW TERRESTIAL GLOBE, EXHIBITING The Tracks and Discoveries made by CAPTAIN COOK; / Also those of CAPTAIN VANCOUVER on the NORTHWEST COAST OF AMERICA; And M DE LA PEROUSE on the COAST of TARTARY. TOGETHER With every other Improvement collected from Various Navigators to the present time LONDON Made & Sold by J & W. Cary, Strand March 1st 1815 WITH ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS TO 1833, with four supports on a ring-turned baluster shaft and tripod base with downswept legs inlaid with lozenges, on spade feet with associated printed paper compass dial inscribed ' J. & W.
