This watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1969 and its subsequent sale on 25 May 1969.

The large Calatrava reference 570 was introduced into the market in 1938, featuring either subsidiary or sweep centre seconds.

The sweep centre seconds version was produced in two series: the first fitted with a 12 SC movement was in production until 1950, the second with calibre 27 SC, such as the present watch, from 1950 until 1970.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered at auction before.
