Embossed wrappers with illustrations by Rex Whistler with royal armorial printed in gilt on upper wrapper, gold wire tassels, contained in modern blue morocco-backed box.
With 21 other books or pamphlets illustrated by Rex Whistler including Laurence Whistler's Armed October and Other Poems (London, 1932), the same author's The World's Room (London, 1949), Brian North Lee's The Bookplate Designs of Rex Whistler ([No place], 1973) and with a number of letters, most typed, but some in autograph, signed, from Laurence Whistler to Lionel Dakers.
