The Northern Italian map, that extends from Lake Geneva to the Gulf of Venice, is dedicated to Count Donato Blandratense. The plate of the Attaques shows, among others, an handsome bird's eye view and a plan of the city of Mantua. These silk maps were issued for military use during the War of the Austrian Succession.
