Set with an old-cut marquise-shaped diamond weighing 10.86 carats to the french-cut diamond shoulders, mounted in platinum, ring size 5

With report no. 8724888 dated 24 February 2006 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamond is D colour, internally flawless clarity

With report no. 0603022 dated 14 March 2006 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamond is D colour, flawless clarity. Accompanied by an appendix stating that the diamond of 10.86 carat possesses an antique cutting style which is rarely encountered in the gem trade today. In addition, this diamond is classified as type IIa (a chemically very pure type of natural diamond). It displays a colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of these unique gemstones. Diamonds of this type, exhibiting an antique cutting style as well as a fine quality, are very rare and will most certainly evoke references to the historic term of "Golconda". Also accompanied by a note stating that the 10.86 carat diamond is classified as a type IIa
