Tapering flattened rectangular striated agate case with slightly domed ends, the sides of cover and base stamped and embossed with pierced scrolling and foliage on matted ground, hinge at the short end, diamond-set pushpiece at side; together with a pitchpin needle case, slightly tapering of hexagonal section, the sides engraved with lozenges, blank matrix
