one by Louis-François Tronquoy (fl. 1827-1871), marked, with the third standard mark for gold, France 1838-1919, one by Albert Boulanger (fl. 1844-1854), marked, with the third standard mark for gold, France 1838-1919, one with unidentified maker's mark 'J. G.' a ladder in between, in a vertical lozenge, France, late 19th century, later struck with two Parisian post-1838 restricted warranty marks for gold
Rectangular box with slightly concave sides, the cover, sides and base engine-turned with a basket-weave pattern framed by overlapping floral and foliate scrolls, the lid centred with a shaped oval polished cartouche engraved with Gothic initials 'GR', slightly raised dye-stamped foliate thumbpiece; together with a bathtub-shaped box, the cover, sides and base with engine-turned panels framed by a border of foliate c-scrolls, the lid centred by an oval blank cartouche and flanked by flowerssprays, the sides and base centred with bouquets of flowers and leaves, both ends with vertical guilloché stripes and flowers, slightly raised incorporated thumbpiece; together with an oblong rectangular box, the cover, four sides and base engine-turned with fine horizontal reeding and stamped with pellets, the lid centred with a circular polished reserve engraved 'Elodie' and bordered with a garland of laurel, slightly raised incorporated thumbpiece
