possibly Dresden, circa 1770/1780
Circular box of gold-mounted striated green and earth-red hardstone, possibly bloodstone, with hinged cover, the incorporated thumbpiece set with four-colour gold foliate scrolls, the mount chased with floral and ribbon-twist border
