Lot Essay

The vendor of this guitar is the bassist with The James Gang, who accompanied The Who on their tour of the U.K. and Europe in 1970. According to the vendor, John Entwistle played this guitar on stage during the tour and subsequently sold it to the vendor who also played it during some of the remaining dates on the tour.
