A PAIR OF OSTROGOTHIC GOLD EARRINGS
CIRCA 5TH-6TH CENTURY A.D.
Each with a penannular earwire, round in section, one end affixed to a hollow polygonal bead, the other end tapering, the four main faces of the bead with a cluster of seven granules, the eight smaller faces with clusters of three granules (some lost), with twisted wire around the perforations
