Comprising a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of ear clips of foliate design, the circular-cut ruby stylised leaves within a corded gold surround to the similarly designed diamond leaves, ear clips made in 1964, necklace 39.0 cm long, bracelet 17.5 cm long, ear clips 3.0 cm long, with French assay mark for gold and platinum, in three dark blue suede Van Cleef & Arpels pouches
Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, the ear clips signed VCA for Van Cleef & Arpels, no. 13137 (3)

Lot Essay

Both the "Petites Feuilles" suite and the "Orchid" brooch of the following lot recall the art of embroidery with their sculptural treatment of the jewels. They are also a tribute to nature - a ubiquitous theme of Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery.
