The fluted baluster coffee urn on shell and scroll feet and with an ebonised wood scroll handle with tap and rocaille-chased domed cover with wood finial, the body chased with a frieze of arabesques and engraved with armorials with a coronet above, the arabesque-chased shaped square stand on openwork foliate feet and with a burner - the urn 28cm high (2)

The coat-of-arms are those of Johannes Sippo Harinxsma-thoe Slooten impaling those of Margetha Titia van Coenders

Johannes Sippo Harinxsma-thoe Slooten (1714-1799) married Margetha Titia van Coenders (1721-1793) in Leeuwarden on the 30th of December 1750
