A SILVER COFFEE URN WITH LATER STAND
the former The Hague, maker's mark of Isacq S. Busard, 1751, the latter Leeuwarden, maker's mark of T.A. Keikes, 1851

The fluted baluster coffee urn on shell and scroll feet and with an ebonised wood scroll handle with tap and rocaille-chased domed cover with wood finial, the body chased with a frieze of arabesques and engraved with armorials with a coronet above, the arabesque-chased shaped square stand on openwork foliate feet and with a burner - the urn 28cm high (2)

The coat-of-arms are those of Johannes Sippo Harinxsma-thoe Slooten impaling those of Margetha Titia van Coenders

Johannes Sippo Harinxsma-thoe Slooten (1714-1799) married Margetha Titia van Coenders (1721-1793) in Leeuwarden on the 30th of December 1750
