etching, 1637, a very fine, rich and sharp impression, with no wear to the densely hatched areas, the modelling on the faces extremely effective, countermark LAK (cf. A. & F. LAK a.), with narrow margins, an unobtrusive soft crease at the upper left, a small thin spot at the left sheet edge, minor surface dirt on the reverse, otherwise in very good condition
