Lot Essay

Bond returns to MI6 from Bilbao with Sir Robert King's money which has been tampered with so that when King touches it, it releases a violent chemical reaction, which kills him. The explosion rips a hole in the MI6 building through which Bond sees Julietta the Cigar Girl [Maria Grazia Cucinotta] in her speedboat on the river Thames outside the MI6 building; much to Q's consternation, Bond he leaps into his latest design, an unfinished speedboat, and gives chase down the Thames. This large customised gun is mounted to the back of Julietta's boat which she uses to fire at Bond.
