The inverted Y-frame over spring barrel with skeletonised cover, chain wound from the fusee great wheel with six crossings, pinwheel escapement, with replaced white enamel Roman chapter ring, brass hour and minute hands and blued steel sweep seconds, raised on an oval white marble dais on ormolu volute feet, above later oval ebonised cylindrical plinth applied with brass foliate cast mounts and housing a pin barrel musical movement with hourly trip from above; on further circular ebonised wood base and with glass dome; pendulum
