Shaped oval, the base and cover engine-turned, the grille pierced and engraved with flowers, thistle and scrollwork -- 1 7/8 in. (4.7 cm.); a Victorian vinaigrette, the base and cover engine-turned, the grille pierced and engraved with foliage, Edward Smith, Birmingham 1842 -- 1½ in. (3.8 cm.); and two further rectangular vinaigrettes, Nathaniel Mills and Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1842 and 1808 -- 1 1/8 in. (2.8 cm.) (4)
