A CHINESE SILVER-GILT COVERED BEAKER,
INDISTINCT CHINESE CHARACTER PUNCH TO BASE, PROBABLY LATE 19TH CENTURY,
The tapering sides chased in low relief with coolies, buildings, pagodas & trees between key-fret bands, the cover similarly decorated & forming a saucer when removed, the foot with scrolling foliage & Chinese coin motifs, gilt interior, 6½ in. high (16.5 cm.), 14 oz.
