A LARGE EARLY 19TH CENTURY INDIAN COLONIAL SILVER TEAPOT,
MARK OF JOHN HUNT & CO., CALCUTTA, CIRCA 1808/15,
Oblong with canted corners, plain except for reeded borders & engraved vertical bands of bud motifs at each corner, faceted spout, the ebonised wood handle with carved lozenge-shaped thumb-rest, 13 in. long (33 cm.), 31.5 oz.
