MARK OF THOMAS HEMING, LONDON, 1774,
Hemispherical with gadroon borders & gilt interiors, on pedestal bases, sides applied with oval rosettes & laurel swags, engraved with crest of a lion rampant supporting a broken lance, each salt engraved with scratch-weight under foot, respectively "6.2" & "5.2", 3 in. diameter (7.7 cm.), 10.75 oz.
