AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER NOVELTY PERPETUAL CALENDAR,
MARK OF PJS, 1908/17,
Modelled as an envelope with slanting sides, varnished wood back with silver strut, with three glazed apertures, Cyrillic inscription dated "1911", engraved with monogram, the flap sealed with a silver Imperial Russian postage stamp, 7¾ in. long (19.5 cm.).
