A pair of Chinese cloisonne baluster vases, late 19th century
the body enamelled with blossoming peony and cherry branches reserved on a blue sectional swastika ground, framed by ruyi-head, floral and lappet borders around the shoulders and lappets above the foot ring, the neck with foliate lotus blossoms and a ruyi-head border below the rim -- 13in. (33cm.) high; and a Chinese silver repousse tapering tankard, applied with a bamboo shaped handle, decorated with two dragons amidst cloud scrolls flanking a shield. (3)
