Struck with counterfeited marks, possibly Hanau, late 19th century
Cirular, on low domes openworked foot finely decorated with dogs and deer between masks, the repoussé and chased body and the detachable domed cover both with hunting scenes in wooded landscapes, the baluster openwork finial with the coat-of-arms of Saxony and two circular medallions with a female and male bust within openworked strapwork and foliage, marked on body and cover
