Depicted seated on a rocky outcrop and pulling a thorn from his foot; on an integral oval bronze plinth and cylindrical granito verde minuto borghesiano and bagnoles pink pedestal; dark greenish brown patina
4¼ in (10.8 cm.) high; 6 5/8 in. (16.9 cm.) high, overall
Provenance
Purchased by Alfred Beit (1853-1906) by 1904.
Thence by descent to Lady (Clementine) Beit (1915-2005) by whom donated to the Alfred Beit Foundation in 2005.
