"Elegant, forward and nicely spicy Chablis aromas followed by equally round, full, intense, concentrated flavors that offer good depth and complexity plus fine length. What the '97 Montée de Tonnerre is not especially powerful but the relatively muscular character of the wine compensates somewhat. In short, a very fine effort in what is turning out to be a better vintage in Chablis than was originally previewed." BH Jul 01, 2004
