Tasting Note: First tasted in 1996: hefty; very dry finish. Most recently: still deeply coloured; 'hefty' used again to which I also added 'glorious'; a massive wine with loads of grip. Tannic. Superb but not a heart-on-sleeve wine. It needs time. Last noted at Kaplan's closing dinner at the Four Seasons, Chicago, April 2000 **(***) Say 2006 - 2020 M.B.
