Lot Essay

Reinier Vinkeles (Amsterdam, 1741-1816), J. Kuyper (Den Haag, 1765- Amsterdam 1822). The freedom festivities found place on 4 March 1795 a tree of liberty was placed on the Dam and the Amsterdam Revolutionary Comite dismissed the city council and proclaimed the new political ideologie of Liberté, Fraternité and Egalité.
