The drum case supported on the backs of two French porcelain eagles and surmounted by flowering branches, the porcelain with pseudo-Meissen mark for Bourdois et Bloch, Paris, on trellis-pierced D-ended plinth centred by a biscuit porcelain plaque and raised on toupie feet, the white enamel Arabic dial decorated with painted floral swags, pierced and chased ormolu hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped for JAPY FRÈRES and numbered 11958; pendulum; key
