CIRCA 1775
Each side with a large garden scene showing Chinese ladies with tame spotted deer, in one two young boys giggle alongside, in the other a young man is seated at a marble-top rootwood table and a grandmother carries a baby on her back, the sides in the Meissen style with Western landscape vignettes in colors and in puce, all within gilt scrollwork borders and on a gilt vine ground, the interior with brightly colored peony, Buddha's hand lemons and seedpods
