Each of quatrefoil form, the first painted with panels of lovers after Watteau alternating with panels of loose bouquets on a yellow-ground, surrounded by gilt scrollwork; the second painted in the Canton famille rose style with Chinese interior scenes, the rims with a band of ribbon-tied auspicious objects, spurious blue AR monograms for Augustus Rex
