A GERMAN SILVER BOWL AND COVER AND A PAIR OF FRENCH SILVER-PLATED BOWLS
THE BOWL AND COVER WITH MARK OF SY & WAGNER, BERLIN, THE PAIR BY CHRISTOFLE, PARIS, ALL LATE 19TH CENTURY
The bowl and cover with two scroll handles, domed cover and reeded borders, an initial below Greek Royal crown, and further with the monogram of Prince Frederick and Princess Victoria of Prussia, marked on base, the circular plated bowls each engraved with an initial below Greek Royal crown
the covered bowl 7 in. (18 cm.) diam.
The initial is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913). (3)
